COVID-19 Household Assistance Fund

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been immediate and severe for Oregonians already struggling due to the shortage of affordable housing, rent assistance and services in our community. Oasis of Praise International Ministries created the COVID-19 Household Assistance Fund to assist households who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and need financial assistance.


  • Households must meet three requirements:
  • Living in the Tri-County area (housed or unhoused);
  • Experienced either a loss of income due to COVID-19 related factors OR have compromised health status OR an elevated risk of infection or health vulnerability related to COVID-19.
  • Have a household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Bank Card Procedures and Timeline:

Allow around three to four weeks between your application and receiving the card in the mail. The card is sent in the USPS mail after several intermediate processing steps have been completed. Please be patient. (All time frames listed refer to business days, not calendar days)

  1. Applicant submits COVID-19 Assistance intake form
  2. Administrator reviews intake form (2 days)
  3. Bank card is mailed (up to 7 business days)

  • Please contact Oasis of Praise at 503.235.2127 if the card is not received within four weeks of applying.
  • Please contact the number on the card for any issues you have with activation.
  • Please contact your intake agency to notify the program about lost or stolen cards.
